Make It/Take It: Start Seeds For Your Garden

March 23, 2019 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Free

*Registration is Required*

Have you ever experienced the satisfaction of eating a tomato plucked from a plant that you started from seed? Or how about growing an heirloom variety that you can’t buy from a nursery? If not, then come join Master Gardener Volunteer Andy Heren as he teaches us how to start our own seedlings. It’s not as hard as you think! You don’t need any fancy equipment or grow lights. Regular fluorescent lights work great! This is a “Make It, Take It” presentation, so you will go home with some pots that will be the start of your garden!

Andy has been a gardener all his life and a Master Gardener Volunteer since 2010. He loves to grow heirloom vegetables, especially hard to find varieties that have great flavor!

Contact the library to register for this event.
