We offer quality programming for a variety of ages, interests, and abilities. Programs are free and open to the public. Some programs do require advance registration. See below for more information.
SUMMER LONG DROP-IN ACTIVITIES
Stop in and complete our weekly Lego Challenge! A new challenge will be posted every week. We may even display your creation!
I SPY Wall:
See if you can find all of the items on our giant I SPY Wall! The items to look for will change each week!
June 22nd: Obstacle Course-Come try out the obstacle course set up in the Village Hall and then head into the library for a scavenger hunt!
June 29th: Story Stones-Paint pictures on a set of stones and design a bag to keep them in. Have a fun activity to keep on hand or in the car!
July 6th: Movie Day: Get comfy and watch Paddington 2 on the big screen in the library! Popcorn, juice and cookies!
July 13: Kevin’s Juggling & Balloons-Join us for a visit from Kevin the Juggler! He’ll demonstrate amazing juggling tricks and twist balloons for attendees! Packed with music, games, and an air balloon band! He assured us his performance will end with “fireworks!”
July 20th: STEAM Challenge-Compete in a bridge building competition with only marshmallows and tooth picks! How strong can you make your bridge?!
July 27th: Food Crafts-You won’t need lunch after this program! Make and enjoy book-themed snacks and food crafts!
August 3rd: Write Your Own Story-Learn what it means to be an author and illustrator by creating your own book!
August 10th: Book Buck Store-Celebrate the end of the SRP by cashing in your Book Bucks!
Pre-School Story Time

We’ll sing, bounce, dance, rhyme, and play together to help introduce and improve early learning skills, motor development, and a love of reading! Following Story Time there will be time to play! Sibling welcome!
Play N’ Learn

The Family Resource Center of Eau Claire invites you to family play group! A free, fun, and interactive time for children and their parents/caregivers. Each family will receive a free copy of the featured book and a snack.
Bingo for Books
10 am-11 am all ages
June 30th & July 21st
We will play Bingo using fun and colorful Summer Bingo cards and play as many rounds of Bingo as we can fit in an hour! Winners receive a free book!
Read to the Dogs
1 pm-2:30 pm ages 4-15
June 20th & July 18th
Register to read to a trained therapy dog for 10 minutes! Registration is required, waiting lists are available in case of cancellations. Contact the library or email@example.com to register.
Pint Size Polkas
2 pm-3pm for 0-10 year olds

Teen Advisory Board
6 pm-7 pm ages 13-18
At TAB meetings, teens casually gather to brainstorm and create fun programs with the help of the library. Think giant board game parties, movie marathons, trivia nights, cupcake decorating — the possibilities are endless! Food provided at every meeting. Attending meetings count as volunteer hours!
